Pistils Nursery was founded in 2001 in Portland, Oregon, with a vision of bringing unusual and inspiring plant life into our daily experiences. The Pistils Nursery flagship store on Mississippi began with a focus on organic outdoor ornamentals, composting, and urban farming. With the rise of gardening and houseplant movements, the vision grew to encompass tropical houseplants and botanical oddities. We grew new roots in NW Portland's Slabtown neighborhood in 2019 when we opened the doors to our second brick & mortar location.

With two storefronts, an online shop, and an interior plantscaping team, Pistils Nursery perfectly complements Pistils Landscape, together offering a full-service experience for anyone who appreciates the beauty of nature.
