Multnomah Village

The Multnomah Village Family Dental facility is located in a high-profile location, at the northeast entryway to Portland's quaint Multnomah Village neighborhood. Pistils was commissioned to create a landscape design that not only enhanced the aesthetics and functionality of the dental facility's grounds, but provided an attractive, friendly and accessible entry experience to the NE end of the Multnomah Village neighborhood.

The installation featured a series of contemporary curved retaining walls, built of native basalt. Planting beds between and around the walls feature bright, colorful plantings such as Sedum, lavender, Crepe Myrtle and Kniphofia 'Red hot poker.' Custom fabricated steel containers and trellises lend a modern flair to the facility.
